Speaker: Olivia Parry, Senior Planner,
Dane County Planning & Development Department

Join us on Tuesday, May 13 for a presentation by Olivia Parry of the county's five-year housing strategic action plan to address housing crisis in Dane County.

Dane County's Regional Housing Strategy (RHS), A Road Map to Solving Dane County's Housing Crisis Strategic Action Plan 2024-2028, has raised the profile of the housing crisis with tremendous early results. The RHS provides important data and information on our current housing shortages, the affordability crisis, what the impacts are and the risks we face. RHS offers a vision for housing for the next 10 years, with 5 key priorities, housing production goals, and over 100 action items for the public, private and non-profit sectors to play.

The RHS was led by a Housing Advisory Committee of over 80 stakeholders from 17 municipalities including 4 mayors and representatives from the private and non-profit sectors. Core to its purpose and vision is that housing is a regional issue that can’t be solved by one community, and that there is a role for everyone to play.
