Join TEMPO Madison's Networking Committee on Sunday, August 20 at the beautiful American Players Theater grounds for a showing of Mala by Melinda Lopez. APT has generously made tickets for this showing available to our group at a special price of $49 each.

The play starts at 6:00pm. We’ll gather at 4:00pm on the APT grounds for a picnic dinner and conversation before the play. You can choose to join us for picnic and play ($69), or play only ($49). We hope to see you for both! We can’t wait to enjoy this amazing production together.

About the Play

Mala by Melinda Lopez is directed by Rosa Joshi and features Nancy Rodriguez as Mala. The show takes place at the indoor Touchstone Theater, located on American Players Theater’s grounds. The showing starts at 6:00 p.m.

Picnic Dinner Option Each meal includes an entree, calico bean salad, diced fruit and a brownie. (V) denotes a vegetarian option. All picnic dinners are served cold.) Picnic starts at 4:00pm

Please bring your beverage of choice. Utensils and napkins included. We’ll pick up all dinners and bring them to our picnic site. We’ll provide specific directions to attendees on where to find our group’s location on the grounds.

• Smoked Turkey Sandwich: Thinly sliced smoked turkey, baby Swiss cheese, fresh spring greens on freshly baked focaccia, with basil-pesto mayo on the side. 
• Roast Beef and Havarti Sandwich: Roast beef, Havarti cheese, arugula, red onion on ciabatta bread, with horseradish mayo on the side. 
• Greek Pita Sandwich (V): Avocado, feta cheese, cucumber, purple cabbage, red bell pepper and arugula in a wheat pita with a feta dill sauce. 
• Chicken Salad Lettuce Wrap: Pulled white-meat chicken salad with sweet red grapes and toasted walnuts, wrapped in fresh lettuce. 
• Goat Cheese, Chicken Breast and Almond Salad: Fresh greens topped with grilled chicken breast, almonds and goat cheese. Served with vinaigrette dressing on the side. 
• Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad: Fresh greens topped with grilled chicken breast, chopped bacon, egg, and diced tomato. Served with housemade bleu cheese dressing on the side. 
• Asian Salad with Peanut Sauce (V): A mix of fresh greens and cabbage with sliced red pepper, carrots, cucumber, celery and green onions. Served with wonton strips and a peanut vinaigrette dressing on the side.
