No Strings Attached Semi-Annual Meeting

Semi-Annual Meeting | May 3, 2021 | 4:30 pm

The meeting for new members will start at 4:30 pm and the regular meeting will start at 5:00 pm. Each of us will have to bring her own glass of wine and snacks to the meeting! One of our newer members, Janice Knapp-Cordes is going to host it for Eve Galanter and Mary Hamre. Hopefully by our October meeting date we will be able to gather in person! 

If you are unfamiliar with this group, we help women who need a little boost so they can move forward with their lives. In these days of Covid, there have been a lot of women needing help! The criteria for helping a woman are simple: We help only women living in Dane County who are referred to us by a knowledgeable source. In addition, our gifts cannot replicate what other organizations or government programs do. Ours is a one-time gift and we expect that gift to make a difference in the woman’s life. It's catching things that fall between the cracks - helping out someone with a one-time, average gift of $350. For us, spending $350 to repair a car is not a hardship. But, for the women we help it can be an insurmountable mountain. We don’t expect our recipients to pay us back, but we do ask if they are ever able to help another woman, we would like them to Pay It Forward.
