Kathleen Murphy is a leader in the financial services industry with extensive board experience. As a leader in the country’s largest privately held third party administrator, Kathleen advises on and oversees innovative employee benefit solutions. With twenty-two years’ experience at Fortune100 company, John Deere, Kathleen has a keen financial acumen, credit adjudication and market analytics expertise as she rose from a credit analyst to Vice President with its wholly-owned subsidiary, John Deere Financial. Kathleen has held officer positions on several boards including the Wisconsin FFA Foundation, Kennedy Heights Community Center, United Way of Dane County ~ Women United Council and the Barneveld Public Library. She also founded the 100+ Women Who Care ~Southwest Wisconsin Chapter. She was an elected official on the Barneveld School Board. Her understanding of customers, channels, technology, and offshore resourcing coupled with her expertise in market analytics, competency in setting strategic direction and experience overseeing large organizations make her a strong asset to a fintech or manufacturing company. Murphy earned her Master’s degree ~ Business Administration from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Diversity Practitioner.
In her role as Executive Vice President, Customer Interactions at TASC ~ Total Administration Services Corporation, Kathleen successfully led her functional areas through a platform upgrade, acquisition integration, card processor replacement and business peak season simultaneously. She is accountable for customer care, account management, relationship management and premium services for clients and participants.
During her work at John Deere Financial ~ a wholly owned subsidiary of John Deere, she rose from a credit analyst role to Vice President, FPC Financial f.s.b. She was involved in product ownership and product relaunch efforts as well as implementing cutting edge technologies and implementing channel and customer strategies.
Philanthropy is a personal passion and Kathleen has served on several boards and was an elected officer. As the Treasurer of Wisconsin FFA Foundation she oversaw funds in support of students and public instruction across the state. She recruited, interviewed and hired Executive Director positions for both the Wisconsin FFA Foundation and the Kennedy Heights Community Center. A key highlight of her philanthropic efforts was founding the 100+ Women Who Care ~ Southwest, Wisconsin chapter, which focuses on women’s development and giving to local charities.
A belief in life-long learning, Kathleen earned her Master’s Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Iowa and is an Inclusion Institute Certified Diversity Practitioner.
