Jean has been the Financial Executive Liaison to the boards of Ramaker & Associates, Inc., Kraemer North America, Inc., Kraemer Mining & Materials, Inc., and Edward Kraemer & Sons, Inc. She is currently the Treasurer of the Madison Chapter of Financial Executives International. She was also the Financial Advisor to the Co-op board of the Honey Creek Market and has served on the board of trustees and as Treasurer of the Kraemer Library and Community Center and on the finance committee of St. Luke’s Church and for the Village of Plain.
Since 2016, Jean has been the CFO, Vice President, and Treasurer of Ramaker & Associates, Inc. From 2006 until 2016 she was an independent consultant and board liaison and interim CFO for multiple companies with revenues from $10 million to $350 million. She worked extensively with outside professionals to set up and administer a new Employee Stock Ownership Plan and oversaw the due diligence process for the mergers and acquisitions for five companies. From 1989 to 2006 Jean served as CFO, Vice President, and Treasurer for Edward Kraemer & Sons, Inc., a national company with $350 Million in revenue from general contracting, specializing in transportation infrastructure. She oversaw financial management of the parent company with multiple subsidiaries and major joint ventures. She has also been a Cost and Advanced Accounting Instructor at Madison College and a General Accountant at the Mental Health Center of Dane County, currently Journey Mental Health.
Jean holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1991. She has been a member of TEMPO, an executive women’s organization, since 2021. She recently became the Treasurer of the Financial Executives International Madison Chapter and has been part of the CFO Roundtable since 2019. She is a member of The ESOP Association and recently became a member of the Government Relations committee focusing on Legislative and Regulatory Issues for ESOPs. Since 2007, she has been a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership. She is also active in the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and previously a member of the Construction Financial Management Association.
