About our speaker: Sarah Block, APNP-CNP, Nurse Practitioner, Obstetrics and Gynecology, SSM Health Dean Medical Group - OB/GYN

Sarah Block is an advanced practice nurse prescriber in obstetrics and gynecology. She obtained her undergraduate degree in nursing from Viterbo University-La Crosse and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis.

Block's practice is focused on women's and preventive health, menopause, sexual health, and prenatal education.

Block is board-certified as a women's health nurse practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners of Women's Health.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys the outdoors, running, biking, skiing, boating, and hiking. She also loves to travel and find locally owned restaurants and coffee shops.

The DEI Committee invites you to join us for an evening at American Players Theatre (APT)!

About the Play:

For the Dreamers: Step into this fantastical fairy tale, where old-world verse and modern wit mingle. A prophecy proclaims that a newborn leader will usher in an era of tyranny. But what if the fates are wrong? Doesn't every human deserve a chance to be human? Then again, what if they're right? Such questions propel the celestial dice we all roll every day. Life, after all, is our greatest adventure, and there's no adventure without hope. No hope without risk. A love letter to the Spanish Golden Age – funny, bawdy, and profound. A singular spectacle like nothing you've seen on our Hill stage, perfectly suited to an evening under the portentous stars.
